About the Authors

Deanna K. Klingel lives and writes in the mountain resort of Sapphire Valley, NC. She is a member of North Carolina Writer’s Network, Society of Childrens’ Book Writers and Illustrators, American Christian Fiction Writers, and Royal Scribblers of Cashiers.

Lily has competed in Rally, Agility, and Tracking and holds titles in Freestyle, and CGC. She is third level of advancement for Therapy Dog International, TDIRVA. She’s a library Reading Buddy. She enjoys swimming, fishing, and bird watching. Her favorite time of day is evening with everyone in the same room, cuddled on the sofa watching a movie with her eyes closed. She is nine years old.

Jessie probably competed in Conformation and Obedience in her former life, and currently holds titles in Freestyle, and CGC, and is also a library Reading Buddy. She is second level of advancement for Therapy Dog International, TDIAOV. She loves water and soft things that she can carry and riding in the golf cart. Her favorite time of day is when Dave is at home. She is 14 years old, and was recently diagnosed with leukemia.

All three authors wear bandanas that say, “Life Is Good,”© because it is.
